SECTION 4 - BURNING INFORMATION
Describe the nature of the material you intend to burn, e.g. household trash, fallen tree limbs, etc. Note: Resolution 2015-12 specifically prohibits the burning of "black smoke emitting items" such as old tires, metal debris, petroleum products, construction debris and other hazardous materials. Burn Permits do not apply to barrel burning. Bon Fires require permission of your township fire chief. Any structure burn such as a chicken coop, barn or outbuilding requires special permission and prior inspection by the township fire chief prior to burning. If you have been banned from burning by your township's fire chief then you must contact the chief, by telephone, prior to burning.
Indicate the time you will begin and finish burning. Note: burning is only allowed between one hour after sunrise and no later than two hours prior to sunset.
